“The art of cameo making was born way back in the 1700s. Shells arrived in the city of Naples from warm countries like Madagascar, the Caribbean, the Seychelles, etc. Legend has it that a sailor at the port of Naples, almost for fun, with a carpenter's chisel discovered that the cup of the shell was calcareous, therefore easily workable. So he slowly began to engrave the face of his beloved and the cameo with the image of a woman's profile was born”.

Il servizio è stato assolutamente ottimo, il venditore è stato molto gentile con noi, ci ha raccontato storie e ci ha spiegato tutto, mostrandoci diverse opzioni e assicurandosi che trovassimo ciò che ci piaceva. Inoltre, sembrava che la qualità dei prodotti fosse migliore rispetto ad altri negozi locali. L'unico problema era che il prezzo era piuttosto alto e non era possibile contrattare anche se avessimo comprato più cose.
